really need alot of help

in response to Angel38...   Hey angel Im listening. Angel please remember this there comes a time in our lives where we have to say let go and let God. Its a hard thing to do especially when there was a time in our lives that we were the ones that people looked up to and now we are the ones who need looking after. Im sorry to hear about your parents in california thats hard to deal with ill bet. Tell me do you have type 1 or type 2 diabeties. I have developed type 2. When we are disabled and cant do much any more we get sedintary, and gain weight and then lack of exersise causes us to get diabeties. So with you if you want some help I have to kind of walk you through this. Now I cant do anything about your financial situation but we can maybe find help for that somewhere. As for your liver guess what if you are going to have an organ that gets sick on you well the LIVER has the ability to repair itself and get better. So we have to work with what you have and not with what you dont have. Its great that youve been cancer free for awhile now so God is listening to you also.I understand having to leave california because of the cost of living.Im from Chicago myself, and yes the cost of living here is more doable.I hate it here but at least I can have a place to live here, and not be homeless.Angel ask yourself this I know you love mom and dad but in their situation would it do any good if you went back to california I dont see where you are able to take care of them, and then care for yourself as well. The state of california cant put your parents in the street in the condition they are in the state will have to find a place to care for them even if they dont have insurance now.So unless your parents own their own property then there isnt much to be done.If they own a house or property then there are some options but put it out of your head you are not the one to go and help them im sorry it sounds cruel I know but now you need to take care of you.The government grants you are talking of listen Grants take a long time to get you need a proposal, you need to have a locked down plan And you have to show the govrnment just how the grant will be allocated in order to make your plan work and not fail. Everyone talks about grants as if this is just pocket change the govmt. is throwing at people and believe me they arent. But like i said we need to get yourself and problems lined up and worked onAnd for now at least your going to have to put everyone and everything else on hold and work on Angel.Well i gotta get dressed and stuff write back and lets see if we can get your ducks in a row and get going on them.ttyl James1453

subsidised housing

I dont know where you live but there should be an energy assistance organization here in mo. its called LIHEAP that stands for low income energy assist program anyways there are churches and hud housing doesnt make the decision to take you or not you find an apartment that charges rent based on income and you usually end up paying about 1/3 of your income and hud pays the balance if you cant get an apt it may be your past record of residence not your bills.you may not want to hear that but it may be true. get a list of all the subsidized housing in your area work with a social worker thats what they are there for. if yor a veteran go to the va they have homless prgrams and other assistance for veterans its located at the hospitals. you will need an security deposit no matter where you live.  If there is a landlord that owns the place where you are living take him to court if hes not fixing his house stop paying rent until he does. this will get the attn of alot of people. no one wants to not pay rent all of us no what it means if we dont but you dont have to live in squalor either this is america and we have landlord laws as well as tennant laws get on him.If you meet low income requirements hud has to accept you its not that theres no guarantee that they will or not they are required to by law what country are you living in? But you need to get out and do the foot work.no one is going to come to your door and say hey i got a new place for you get busy thats all you can do.

PTSD Veteran needs dental

here is a reply for the dental at theV.A. hosp. Unless you are 100% service connected disability compensation. this is not a service conected disability check they are 2 different things. you can not be treated at the v.a. for dental care. oh you can have things like e.r. dental extractions but they will bill your benefits check.and that service used to cost 50.00 per tooth. now for e.r. dental extractions that price has gone up to n200.00 dollars per tooth. believe ne ive been trying to get stuff done at the v.a. as well. so you can pretty much forget the va for dental help your going to have to go to a free dental clinic to get all that stuff done if you cant afford a regular dentist. their is a dental insurance co. outthere that is affordable and they will work with you. thr nane of that co. is ENCORE DENTAL look em up on the internet and ill bet youy can get the help you need any questions contact james 1453 GOOD LUCK .

please help me and my kids

in response to taytay2...   OH yes i forgot to tell you if you are considered low income in your area go to hud and file for SEC.8 rental assistance.See if your leasing or whoever accepts this SEC8 basis the amount of rent you pay based on your income so they do an intake and then they will tell you how much you have to pay from your own pocket and then they pay the balance. this is not, not. the same thing as a Sec.8 rent voucher wich there is a long waiting list to get on so dont let someone confuse you. talk to your landlords if theyll accept sec8 payments then just apply and if you meet income requirements theyll help so your rent is less on you and no it doesnt mean you have to move that is what the vouchers are for, not rental assist program programs. good luck, it does take time so get on it.!!!

please help me and my kids

hey yvonne, well listen its been a long time since your post but ill try anyway ! go to your landlord leasing co. or whoever you rent from even if you are only one month behind and they have not issued you a notice yet because leagally its too early for that they certainley know that you are behind on rent so.!!! ask them to go ahead and issue you a rent due letter and have them say what they would say  i.e.  eviction notice etc. then at least you have your notice so that when you apply at the places that can help you with rent and utilities and stuff, at least you have a notice to work with. a lso you have kids so i dont know if you are involved with local churches or not but hey it never hurts to call and or go and talk to them they may be able to help. Now im no lawyer but each state is different but being late on rent ,,usually you have to be three months behind before these places can finally get you into a court room to have you evicted. And they can give all the move and rent notices they want but they must still follow the law. also if they change the lock on you if you have not been legally evicted then they cant do that just because they did doesnt make it right, so tell the police that they locked you out ,the police must underline must, come and help you get back in if this was done without a court approval,. yes they may tell you they are sorry but they cant help you because that is a civil matter. but if it was done without a court order yes they can they just dont like to. laws were enacted in the 9os because so many people were comming up homeless and the courts have said minimum of three months a legal eviction notice and all are required to evict you if the law was not followed yet then yes the police are obliged to come and help you get back in . thats not much i know but thats the law and we are a country of laws 1st. just ask any good court justice.
